The application of the Middle Eastern architectural style is an approach to create a building aesthetic that characterizes Islamic architecture. Conducting precedent studies on several projects is useful as learning material and contributes to the formulation of design criteria. This paper aims to develop design criteria for learning outcomes from several building objects that apply Middle Eastern Islamic architecture, which can be used as a reference for designing mosque building facades anywhere. Data accumulation and comparative analysis using precedent studies. The results of the study show that the facade with Middle Eastern Islamic architectural style is characterized using modified forms and repetition of curved shapes, solid-void considerations and symmetrical facade outline lines, ornaments and building masses using geometric basic forms.
